Eshelby Pianos

Grand and upright pianos are available for monthly hire.  We only hire pianos to a specific area, that is, to northern Johannesburg, Pretoria and the country areas between, including Krugersdorp. 

At present we charge an initial fee to cover the transport of the hire piano to the residence at the commencement of the hire period and for the collection and transport of the piano to our place of business when the hire is terminated.  The first month's fee, service, and tuning are also included in this initial payment.  A monthly fee follows.

Grands are available for hire, mostly for short periods only. Please enquire about hire rates and availability.

Hardman Grand piano, built in the USA, is available for monthly hire for private use. It has an ornate walnut casing and is 175 cm tall. R650 per month. There is an initial payment of R2,500 to cover transport and other costs. Terms and Conditions applicable.

Charges

Charges are subject to change without notice due to conditions such as transport difficulties etc.  Contact us telephonically with any query you may have in this regard, or for any query regarding hire options other than monthly.

Prices

Prices quoted include a piano stool, guarantee, tuning, and transportation to the areas specified in the hire section. 

Transport to any address in southern Africa can be arranged, the cost will vary depending on the distance, the difficulty of the move and other unavoidable costs.

Prices quoted are on a cash basis unless other prior arrangements have been made with us.
